New technologies - surgical navigation for diagnosis and treatment

In recent years more than 50 navigation systems were made available for various surgical applications. The concept for a precise instrument guidance system in the human body, that makes interventions more efficient, meets the needs of surgeons and opens the door for new applications such as interventional radiology or radiotherapy.
