Abstract
Häufiges Umrüsten stellt in der Einzelfertigung einen wesentlichen Wirtschaftlichkeitsfaktor dar. Dieser Beitrag beschreibt, wie Factory-X durch interoperable Datenräume, standardisierte Asset-Beschreibungen und modulare Business Applications eine flexible Produktionsplanung und automatisierte Umrüstprozesse ermöglicht. Die entwickelte Architektur wird anhand einer modularen Dreh-Fräszelle exemplarisch demonstriert.

Frequent changeovers constitute a significant economic factor in make-to-order production environments. This paper presents how Factory-X enables flexible production planning and automated changeover processes by means of interoperable data spaces, standardized asset descriptions, and modular business applications. The proposed architecture is exemplarily demonstrated using a modular Turn-Mill Cell.
