A transaction concept for software process management with FUNSOFT Nets

The importance of properly managing software processes has been widely accepted in the past. One of the approaches that has been developed for modeling, analysis, and enaction of software processes is the view-based FUNSOFT net approach to software process management. This paper discusses some requirements that lead to transactional FUNSOFT nets. The concept of FUNSOFT net transactions is introduced and it is shown how FUNSOFT net transactions are supported in the software process management environment CORMAN.
