Wafer level manufacturing of glass optics

The wafer-based manufacturing approach, which perfectly uses the economics of scale, is already established for polymer optics. In this work, the manufacturing approach for glass optics molded on wafer scale is presented. It comprises a detailed view on each process step that needs to be accomplished.
