Creating Meaningful Events in Challenging Times

In its 2023 research topic, the »Future Meeting Space« Innovation Network focused on the development of innovative event elements to enhance a sustainable event experience. The comprehensive analysis of event elements for meaningful events not only provides insights into the design of meaningful events, but also enables specific recommendations for action for event organizers. The study classifies the evaluated elements into five central event categories: »Knowledge Gain«, »Community Building«, »Bridging Gaps«, »Providing Inspiration« and »Emotional Experiences«. These categories represent the fundamental objectives of events and provide organizers with clear guidance.
