Polarization insensitive all-optical wavelength conversion of 320 Gb/s RZ-DQPSK data signals

Abstract
Polarization insensitive 320 Gb/s RZ-DQPSK single channel wavelength conversion was demonstrated using a Ti:PPLN-waveguide as all-optical wavelength converter in a bidirectional mode of operation. Error free performance of the converted signal was achieved.
