Further remarks on the relationship between C-E structures and Petri nets

Based on the original semantics of cause-effect structures, it is claimed that the class of structures is not equivalent to that of C/E nets. Rather, it should be considered as a more fundamental conceptual class of models. In particular, there may exist C-E structures which have no reasonable behaviour (and thus no corresponding C-E net) at all, and there may exist several C/E-structures which show the same behaviour and thus correspond to one common C-E net.
