Mikroproduktionstechnologien für die Medizintechnik

Die Medizintechnik ist ein bedeutendes Anwendungsfeld der Mikroproduktionstechnik. Durch Technologien und Prozesse der Mikroproduktionstechnik ist es möglich, innovative Medizinprodukte herzustellen, die für Diagnosen und Therapien vielfältig eingesetzt werden können. Gemeinsam mit dem Zentrum für Innovative Gesundheitstechnologie (ZiG) konzentrieren sich Wissenschaftler des IWF dabei auf die Fertigung von Bauteilen und Baugruppen für den direkten Gebrauch, als auch auf den Werkzeug- und Formenbau für die kostengünstige Herstellung von Analyseprodukte.

A possible field of application for micro production technology with a large potential is the field of medical technology. Using technologies and processes from micro production technology it is possible to manufacture innovative medical products for a variety of applications in diagnosis and therapy. Together with the Center for Innovative Health Technology (ZiG) scientist at IWF focus their research on the manufacture of components and modules for direct application, as well as on tool and die making for a cost-efficient production of analytical products.
