From todays knowledge a suitalbe prodiction of adhesion phenomena is impossible. It occures the impression, that adhesion is a so complicated phenomenon, that it is generally impossible to describe by a model. This paper tries to describe adhesion with the aid of physical and chemical fundamentals.
