Analysis-aided geometric design based on constrained parametric structures

In this paper, an investigation into the nature of the integration of analysis tools in early stages of the design process is performed, followed by the specification of a series of requirements on CAD systems to support the Analysis-Aided Geometric Design (AAGD) Concept. Guided by these pragmatic requirements, we present an approach based on constrained parametric structures and on an alalysis-flow graph.
