Tools for conformance testing and software evaluation

The European Directive 90/270 requires down that workplaces with visual display equipment have to be analysed. The health of workers has to be protected and mental strain have to be excluded. Concerning the user interface evaluation a strategy has been set up in the German project SANUS (funded by the German Ministry of Education, Science, Research and Technology, Programme Work & Technology). This software evaluation strategy consists of screening methods for quick usability assessment of existing software. expert evaluation support tool and a training concept for discount user testing for non experts.
