Title

Tunable TE/TM-mode convertor on (001)-InP-substrate

Abstract
A TE/TM-mode converter for an operating wavelength of 1.56 mu m has been fabricated on (001)-InP substrate. Polarisation conversion of 45 degrees suitable for operation in a polarisation diversity network has been achieved at an effective voltage of 32 V.
