Design premises for local energy markets

This paper analyzes Local Energy Markets (LEMs) focusing on stakeholders and their objectives, the market design as well as potential synergies with grid services in order to derive design premises. A double sided, combinatorial auctioneer based design is proposed. Further requirements and design proposals will be analyzed within an ongoing project, which aims for the implementation of local energy markets.
