Title

Simulation based value-added-services

Title Supplement
Analysis and evaluation of "predictive alteration planning"
Abstract
In this article problems, demands and methods of resolution for the systematic structure as well as the realization of a life-cycle-accompanying, simulation-supported assessment of logistic systems in the form of a value-added-service are going to be discussed. The aim is to transfer the tool-based processes of logistic system planning into the operational phase in order to be able to react on future stress on the plant already in the operation phase. For that operating and order data is continuously collected via a service platform and is compressed into indexes relevant for the analysis. If a problematic operational situation emerges during the following simulation-supported assessment, an alternative structure planning of the plant is initiated to avoid this discrepancy.
