Title

Quantification of electroluminescence measurements on modules

Abstract
A non-destructive measurement technique is presented which yields cell parameters of individual solar cells of a photovoltaic module. Our method is based on the quantitative analysis of voltage dependent electroluminescence images together with the current-voltage-characteristic of the complete module. As a result, we obtain the ideality factors n(1,2) and loss current densities J(01,02) of individual cells connected in series. The applicability of our approach is demonstrated on numerical and experimental data.
