Title

Scavenging of organic compounds by cloud droplets. Contribution to subproject ACE

Abstract
While the scavenging of inorganic gases as well as inorganic compounds adsorbed on particles by cloud droplets have been studied extensively only a few investigations have dealt with the analysis of organic compounds in cloud water. These results indicate that cloud droplets scavenge organic compounds more efficiently than rain droplets although more research is necessary to corroborate these early findings
