A BICMOS analog adaptive filter

An analog adaptive filter has been fabricated in BiCMOS technology. The filter combines CMOS sampled-data storage and analog bipolar multiplication. The experimental prototype realizes linear LMS adaption using a four-tap FIR-filter. A chip area of 7.0 mm2 is occupied by the device operating with + - 2.5 V power supplies.
