Bestimmung der Blutviskoelastizität

A brief outline of the background of rheometry of viscoelastic fluids is given in order to derive for blood relevant parameters. In this context, especially one method, the sinusoidal oscillating capillary rheometry, is discussed. The determination of different parameters to characterize blood samples, an aggregation index and a flexibility index is described. Clinical relevance of these parameters is documented by results of clinical studies.
