Title
Optical microwave generation and transmission experiments using a monolithically integrated tunable optical signal source
Abstract
Radio-over-fiber systems are a new important area for photonic ICs. For the first time a tunable optical signal source is used for generating microwave frequencies up to 62.5 GHz. 70 Mbit/s data transmission via optical fiber and radio link is described.
