NATO radiation effects test program for optical fibers and components

Abstract
Interlaboratory standardization efforts under NATO sponsorship, focused on radiation effects data in optical fibers, are reviewed. Both Co60 and pulsed radiation sources were used in this multilaboratory study spanning three years. (INT)
