Collaborative learning factory for advanced industrial engineering, LEAF aIE

Our work aims to promote the knowledge, competences and best practices in the field of advanced Industrial Engineering - aIE, through a collaborative learning living lab, called "LEArning Factory for advanced Industrial Engineering - LEAF aIE". This paper presents several steps that we made in developing new and innovative models, methodologies and techniques for collaborative learning in the field of industrial engineering. The designed architecture and several state-of-the-art technologies, which will be used in the implementation phase of the envisioned LEAF aIE, are presented as well. As a guarantee of achieving our scientific objectives, some related successful results and current works are briefly introduced.
