Seit einigen Jahren verfolgt das Fraunhofer-Institut für Produktionstechnik und Automatisierung IPA das Ziel einer "Automatisierung der Automatisierung". Softwarelösungen und neue Konzepte sollen - unterstützt durch maschinelle Lernverfahren - helfen, Anwendungen im Produktionsumfeld schneller, flexibler und autonomer einrichten und umrüsten zu können.

For a few years now, Fraunhofer IPA has been pursuing the goal of "automation of automation". Software solutions and new concepts - supported by machine learning methods - are intended to help set up and retool applications in the production environment more quickly, flexibly and autonomously.
