First International Workshop on New Database Concepts

Abstract
The First Internal Workshop on New Database Concepts was based on an international cooperation of TH Darmstadt, Fraunhofer-Arbeitsgruppe (Germany) and UNICAMP, Campinas (Brazil). The Workshop covers topics in the area of non-conventional databases, including data modelling concepts and data management techniques e.g. abstraction concepts and consistency control mechanisms. The goal was the comparison of the different database developments of each group and the exchange of experience. (AGD)
