Optimization of SBS-suppression for 320 Gbit/s DQPSK all-optical wavelength conversion

Abstract
We investigate single- and dual-tone phase modulation of the cw-pump for effective stimulated Brillouin scattering suppression in all-optical wavelength conversion based on FWM in highly-nonlinear fibre. The performance is evaluated in 320 Gbit/s DQPSK wavelength conversion experiments.
