Technology. A solution for yet undefined problems? The Brazilian-Argentinian research-education program

This paper attempts to contribute to the discussion about technology's role in the Latin American context. CIM - Computer Integrated Manufacturing - is briefly discussed from technological and educational aspects. The main interest is to discuss educational needs in order to support nowadays technological requirements. A case study looks at already obtained results from the cooperation between Brazil and Argentina in educational and research activities. (AGD)
