Title

Extent of Observation Parameters in Space Surveillance by Radar

Abstract
For the integration of received signals in space surveillance by radar, a construction of a filter bank in various parameters is necessary. The question arises, which are the maximum and minimum expectable values for observation parameters like radial velocity, radial acceleration, etc. This paper presents a method for determining the extent of the observation parameter search space as a function of antenna beam orientation, range and maximum eccentricity of the orbit.
