Title

A 70 kW next generation three-phase solar inverter with multiple MPPTs using advanced cooling concept and stacked-PCB architecture

Abstract
A 70 kW next generation three-phase solar inverter with five MPP Trackers (MPPT's) is presented. The overall concept has been designed to achieve both high efficiency and high power density. SiC semiconductors were implemented using a "hot core" cooling concept in order to get full use of the high temperature allowed by the SiC technology. Based on a stacked PCB architecture, special care was taken to minimize the number, size and cost of the electromechanical components such as connectors and heatsinks.
