The effect of new organization structures on internal company occupational safety
Abstract
The economic situation of companies is changing in many ways. In order to cope with the different economic demands in the company and to stay competitive on international markets, the single companies have to undergo extensive structural changes. In this context the participation of employees is becoming an essential component in all company concepts and so the health of the workers is becoming an ever more important factor. In the future, occupational safety has to be regarded to a greater extent. In order to prevent negative effects on occupational safety, the cooperation between the internal company organizational structures and the organization of occupational safety will have to be optimized. By means of a survey, the Fraunhofer Institute has done a research to find out potential problems.
