A system independent data compressor for wireless Internet access

In this contribution we present a data compression technology for wireless Internet access. The presented data compressor uses a proxy server/client combination technology, which enables any Internet browser to handle compressed data streams. This greatly reduces the amount of data being transferred between a web server and a browser, making low bandwidth wireless Internet connections faster.
