KURT2 - Eine mobile Plattform für die Robotikforschung

KURT2 ist eine mobile Roboterplattform, die am Fraunhofer-Institut für Autonome intelligente Systeme AiS entwickelt wurde. Dieser Roboter lässt sich so einfach wie ein PC programmieren. Trotz der niedrigen Einstiegsschwelle kann die Plattform durch ihre vorgesehene Erweiterbarkeit spezifisch an weitergehende Bedürfnisse angepasst werden. Wesentliche Merkmale von KURT2 sind der modulare Aufbau sowie die Verteilung der Software als Open Source.

KURT2 is a mobile robot platform, which was developed at the Fraunhofer Institute for Autonomous intelligent Systems AiS. This robot is as easy to program as a PC. In spite of the low threshold to start-up, the platform may be adapted to growing needs due to its built-in extendability. Crucial features of KURT2 are the modular construction and the distribution of the software as open source.
