Robots conquer the world

Be it big, heavy robots in production, service robots in such areas as agriculture or logistics, or vacuum-/window-cleaning robots for private use: in nearly every segment of the robotics market, 2014 saw significant growth in both unit sales and revenues. These results come from "World Robotics Statistics 2015," published by the International Federation of Robotics (IFR). The Fraunhofer Institute of Manufacturing Engineering and Automation IPA edited the part on service robotics.
