Peak power scaling towards ultrashort pulses at high repetition rates

Abstract
We present two scaling concepts for fiber based system. Ultrashort pulses with high peak power are generated while maintaining the advantages of fiber laser systems such as high repetition rate and good beam quality. ©2009 Optical Society of America.
