Title
Full scale vibration test on nuclear power plant auxiliary building. Part II
Abstract
The new building for the 2 boric water tanks of the nuclear power plant Beznau (Switzerland) was investigated experimentally in order to verify the type of model used and other parameters necessary for the seismic computation. The response of the building at several points was measured for different excitations and evaluated with regard to natural frequencies, mode shapes and modal damping parameters. An overview of the complete study, especially the comparison of test and analysis, is given in the companion paper (part I). Here the test set-up, the data evaluation together with a more detailed investigation of the influence of excitation level are described. (LBF)
