A flexible approach for environmental modeling in the design process of driver assistance systems

This paper describes an approach allowing a flexible modeling of the environmental conditions of driver assistance systems. Providing interfaces for sensor integration and tracing capabilities concept studies for different kinds of sensors and for different signal processing algorithms can be carried out easily. Visualization features for driving situations and sensor operations support the design process effectively.
