Multi-Channel Pyrometry and Thermography - A Non-Contact Method for the Determination of the Spectral Emissivity of High-Temperature Materials

Abstract
Materials for space technology and also for other high-temperature applications have to fulfil specific requirements, e.g. a definite behaviour of spectral emission coefficient is necessary. The aim of the experiments was to measure the spectral emissivity of the material for temperatures above 1500 øC. The solution of this task was an noncontact multi-channel pyrometric and thermographic technique which is described below.
