High grade optical subscriber lines

The Heinricht Hertz Institute has set up a high grade optical subscriber line with a 2.304 GBd transmission rate. The development is based on the need for minimum hardware costs. The subscriber line is acting as a test bed for various integrated optoelectronic components within a system.
