Measuring the impact of iPad usage concerning perceived work efficiency in business environments

The paper presents an empirical study that aims to investigate the perceived work efficiency (PWE) while introducing iPads at our company. After motivating the introduction of mobile tablets into a business environment, the authors describe the design and realization of the empirical work. Furthermore, initial results of the study are presented indicating first significant tendencies related to the PWE and usage time. Future Work has to deal with the completion and possible extension of the study.
