Title

Measurement of the indoor air flow in the working area of machines for laser materials processing

Abstract
To get detailed information of the global fume distribution experimental examinations of the indoor air flow in the working area of machines for laser materials processing is investigated for two typical industrial robots used in laser materials processing. The air flow is measured by means of a special designed PIV technique. The investigations are supported by spatial resolved measurements of the dust concentrations. The results serve as an aid in construction of ventilation systems in order to minimize workplace concentrations.
