Rechnernetz zur Automatisierung eines weitverzweigten Gasenergieverbundsystems.

The present paper deals with the realization of a fully automated process-control-system for a widely spreaded gas-energy-compound-system. To solve this problem it was started with a fast optic fiber local-area-network as basis, which then was integrated with a regional computer network and/or a public communication system into a hierarchical network. In this way the aim, a process control system which is characterized by a centralized operating and a wide variety of functions for an optimal use of factory-recourses and an economical need of staff, is reached also in this field of process automating techniques.
