MpCCI - a tool for the simulation of coupled applications
Abstract
Many industrial and scientific applications are characterized by the interaction of different disciplines, such as fluid-structure interactions. For the individual disciplines sophisticated and validated solvers exist. This paper describes basic ideas, implementation details and application of MpCCI (mesh-based parallel code coupling interface), a tool for the coupling of different simulation codes.
