Wavelength dependent performance of 20 Gbit/s RZ-DPSK for upgrades of non-slope-matched submarine transmission systems

Abstract
We studied the performance of 20-Gbit/s-RZ-DPSK for application on NZDSF based submarine systems in different wavelength regions, including near zero dispersion. 20-Gbit/s-RZ-DPSK shows consistent performance in all wavelength regions over transoceanic distances.
