Introduction possibilities of lightguides in television transmission techniques including cable TV

Describes the special problems of analogue and digital optical broadband transmission systems by means of realized laboratory systems at the Heinrich-Hertz-Institut. Conclusions for the implementation of optical transmission systems with different requirements are given.
