Title

MIMO-ISAR-Based UWB Imaging System for Non-Destructive Testing

Abstract
A MIMO-ISAR-based UWB imaging system for non-destructive testing is proposed. The scans are realized with a multi-modular MIMO array and a one-dimensional scan. Experimental studies of focusing characteristics of the system are performed. Imaging enhancement is accomplished with a method based-on a virtual element filter and verified by experimental results. A possible application of the system is demonstrated by imaging a wood structure and visualizing the moisture distribution in 3D.
