Abstract
A choice of location by a company is the deliberate choice of a new or existent site from a given set of alternatives, taking into account the current and future situation of the environment and enterprise. Location decisions are multi-stage, long-term and semi-structured decision-making processes. They are solved by accepting a certain level of uncertainty and normally involve several participants with different goals.
