Title
Interactive video content supporting CSCL environments
Abstract
Creating knowledge within a community on the Internet is performed with great success. Thereby, computer supported collaborative learning (CSCL) environments use different media formats to convey information content and to establish communication channels between participants. With this paper, we announce a design approach integrating interactive video content as the basic media format into a CSCL environment in order to meet the requirements for group discussion concerning knowledge creation. A system prototype has been designed with an emphasis on a navigation model for supporting the community members.
