The virtual underground research laboratory

The VIRTUS software platform (virtual underground laboratory in salt) is being developed. In combination with specific process-level codes, VIRTUS provides a powerful tool for simulating and visualizing the coupled thermal-hydraulic-mechanical processes occurring in a repository or underground laboratory in the context of geology and mine structure.
