PROVIS - Objektorientierte Prozessleittechnik

Due to the growing complexity of technical processes there are modified requirements in process control systems with respect to their structure and functionality. This paper deals with the design of a process control system taking into account these extended demands. The solution we worked out is centered around an object-oriented point of view, which includes the user-interface, the kind of modelling processes and products and the programming paradigm.
