Single-pump FWM-wavelength conversion in HNLF using coherent receiver-based electronic compensation

Abstract
We show penalty-free wavelength conversion of QPSK signals based on single-pump four-wave mixing in highly nonlinear fibre. Phase distortions due to the intentionally used pump phase modulation are compensated by electronic signal processing in the coherent receiver.
