Thermische Belastung von PVC mit Organozinnstabilisatoren

PVC containing different tin stabilizers were compared in the field of HCI loss, evaporation of tin compounds and their specification during thermal degradation. HCI loss and tin evaporation are similar for Methyl-, Butyl- and Octyl tin stabilized PVC. There is no or not measurable formation of the toxic Trimethytin compounds during their thermal degradation of Methyl tin stabilized PVC.
