Title

Radar Sensing with Simultaneous Low-Bandwidth Communication Using COTS Automotive Radar Hardware

Abstract
In this paper a method for simultaneous radar sensing and low-bandwidth data transmission using commercially available automotive radar transceivers is presented. The underlying principle for setting up a half-duplex data link is explained. Furthermore, the hardware setup and firmware implementation of the experimental system and results of first experiments are described.
